Michael Brown's life of service was cut short in the early hours of Monday, June 20, in a hit-and-run crash according to a GoFundMe launched by his sister, Kristin Brown. Details in the crash were not immediately known.
Michael was "the sweetest kid" who "always gave his last and wanted nothing in return," who sought out a life of serving others by being a part of volunteer organizations such as the Rosedale Fire Department, his sister said.
The GoFundMe was launched to help aid their family with costs related to the unexpected loss, including trying to help transport immediate family members back to Baltimore to attend Michael's service.
